The first step connected with the establishment of Federation of Azerbaijan International Businessmen, the initiative of ATIB was taken on October 28, 2005, in ATIB office, meeting, held in connection with incorporation of local and foreign businessmen unions and associations (business organizations) acting in the Republic of Azerbaijan under the name of Coordination Board.  

The main purpose of establishment of Coordination Board is the improvement of business condition in Azerbaijan, development of ownership activity, presenting of suggestions, related to economic politics to the head of state and government and etc. As the first sample, it is possible to show "Address to the President" signed on November 4, 2005 by the all members of Coordination Board, in order to support the economic policy of Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

During the last period, a number of organizations expressed their positive opinion related to the participation in ATIB incorporation. Presently, corresponding documents are being collected and prepared for registration of the organization according to the legislation of Azerbaijan.

ATIB invites union of businessmen and organizations, acting in Azerbaijan, to participate in ATIB incorporation and declare that it is ready to cooperate in this direction.
