A conference was held on the theme of "Armenian problem in Azerbaijan and Turkish History" at the BSU by the organization activity of Turkey History Organization, History Institute of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Baku State University and ATIB. In the conclusion of the conference Baku Declaration was approved by the 4 above mentioned organizations and quadrilateral Cooperation Protocol has been signed. The above mentioned organizations decided to jointly act with the purpose of determining the truth basing on the documents on "Armenian problem in Azerbaijan and Turkish history" being the general problem of the both countries and providing information for community on the basis of these documents.

The purpose of the initiative is an evaluation of Armenian problem being the common problem in the history of Azerbaijan and Turkey bilaterally and from the scientific point of view and revealing of the truths on the basis of the documents and make a gift for finding settlement way which eliminating each problem preventing the cooperation and misunderstandings among the nations of the region.           
In the meeting of Coordination Board held in Ankara on February 27, 2007, it was decided to establish Azerbaijan Turkey History Researches Fund for correct coordination of the works to be done in this field. Now, the by-laws project of Fund has been prepared and submitted to the certain authorities for register.

ATIB invites each businessman, scientists and community representatives to cooperation on the most important and common problem of the both countries and notifies that it is ready for looking through of each suggestions in this direction.
