Economic Sectors Commission is engaged in preparing proposals for various sectors of economy on macroeconomics. The commission analyzes tax issues, trade policy, accession into WTO membership, as well as the preparation of proposals and ATIB's own initiatives. The Commision reviews investment opportunities and Azerbaijani economic legislation issues. Its basic activities are to:

-  Work out and implement measures to develop various sector of the economy;
-  Transform economic sectors to highly technological, effective and competitive sectors integrated to global economy;
-  Create a favorable environment for attracting investments to various economic sectors;
-  Support in forming the structure of Azerbaijan's economy to meet modern standards.
